The CWU encourages members to mark March 21st as International Day against Racism by taking the time to read the Union’s publication “Guidelines for Combating Racism and Promoting Intercultural Awareness”. Members can also order a hard copy of the Guidelines from Union Headquarters through their Branch Secretary.

We would also encourage members to visit the website of the National Consultative Committee on Racism and Interculturalism (NCCRI) (www.nccri.ie). The NCCRI had their funding removed in October by the government and they are in the process of winding down their organization but their website is still active.
