International Women’s Day has been celebrated globally for many years to highlight the achievements of women through history. The CWU has long been a supporter or women’s rights and will continue to do so through its’ equality committee and through it’s representation on the ICTU Women’s Committee and on the UNI Europa Women’s committee.
