I wish to advise you in respect of a number of matters associated with the forthcoming Worker Director Elections at An Post.

Nominations:

The following were validly nominated candidates for the Election, under the Worker
Participation (State Enterprises) Act 1977 – 2001, for the five seats on the Board of An Post.

Election Arrangements:

 Voting will be by post only.  All eligible staff will be issued with a ballot paper and a  prepaid return address envelope by the 29th September 2008.

 Completed ballot papers must be returned so as to reach the Returning Officer at the   GPO, Dublin during  the period 30th September 2008 to 8th October 2008 (inclusive),  no later than 5.30pm on that  date.  Votes will be counted in the GPO on Friday 10th  October 2008.
