As you will be aware the Clerical and Admin Agreement provided for the establishment of a core staffing to sustain the operational needs of the Central Address Database (CAD).

Arising from the introduction of this it was agreed that this matter would be further reviewed between the Company and the Union.  While the Union has represented a number of individual issues to the Company it intends to shortly meet with the Company to review all matters.  In advance of doing so the Union requests that Branches would discuss with staff now assigned on a permanent basis to CAD as to how matters are progressing.  In reverting with their views it would be appreciated if in particular but not confined to,
responses could be given in relation to the following headings:

Staffing levels / Workload
Starting Rate of Pay
Change Allowance
Updates of Routes at Redesign Offices
Contracts of Employment
6.    Acting/Absence Cover

I would appreciate if Branches could respond with any views no later than the 1st August 2008.
