Please see attached for your information a copy of the determination issued by the Monitoring Group on Thursday last, 24th May 2007.

The determination, which was accepted by the Executive today, provides for an interim time allowance of an additional 15% to be applied to inward sorting and delivery preparation standards.

It also provides for the accelerated rollout of redesign to 47 named offices through Partnership.

The Union’s C&D implementation group will meet with the Company as soon as possible to discuss an appropriate implementation schedule and branches will be contacted individually when this exercise is completed.

Also enclosed for your information is a copy of the earlier Monitoring Group determination issued on 21st March 2007.
