A report was given to the National Executive Council at a meeting on 3rd May 2007, stating that the Company had recently briefed the Union with the position that they had not decided as yet of the Union’s Claim for the payment of the Second Phase “Towards 2016”, which is a 2% payment due from 1st May 2007.

The National Executive Council, taking into account that the payment of the first phase was not paid in time, decided to sanction the holding of a ballot of the members for Industrial Action, if we have not received confirmation of payment by 22nd May 2007.  The Company have been advised accordingly.
