The CWU National Executive Council is pleased to announce the launch of the CWU AVC Savings Scheme for Eircom Members.

The Scheme provides Members with an opportunity to save an extra cash lump sum for retirement whilst also availing of substantial Tax Relief in the interim.

The Scheme is open to all pensionable Members and is similar to the existing CWU AVC Scheme successfully put in place for Members in An Post

I would be grateful if you would bring this AVC Scheme to the attention of the Members and distribute the Explanatory Booklets at your earliest convenience.

Initially sufficient Booklets to cover approximately half your Members will be issued and
it should be noted that the same information will be up on the Web.

Judging by the number of enquiries received at Headquarters, the Membership already have a keen interest in this Scheme.

All queries will be handled by the scheme promoters Halligan Insurances (8731033) and Irish Life Investment Managers as per the details in the Booklets.
