Charlie has been appointed as Assistant to the General Secretary. Charlie has 34 years service in An Post and has been Branch Chairman of the Dublin Postal Clerks Branch since 1985. He was a member of the National Executive Council and is a member of the Postal Sectoral Executive since 2002 where he was recently elected Chairperson. Charlie has been a member of the SDS Business Partnership and was a leading player in the SDS rescue plan. Charlie has also been involved in the Clerical Grade and Pay discussions for the past two years. Charlie continues to be involved in the Dublin Sports and Social Club where he is currently the Chairperson.
